first snow.

 ryleigh and i attempted to make it to work on the first day of snow...little did we know we were risking our lives.

there are some crazy drivers out there...crazy i tell ya, crazy.

dodging slide offs left and right on the freeway, we made it to roosevelt elementary just in time to pick up crew.

on our way up to the house, we encountered a large-and-in-charge ymca bus.  he attempted to turn down the street that we were driving on but was a little too close...trying to share the road, i pulled my car just slightly out of the way, only to get stuck in the deep snow...

3 guys in a big blue truck came and saved us.  they were tough and buff and pulled and pushed my little car right out of the snow trench.

when we finally made it back, i put the boys in charge of shoveling the walk...and boy were they excited or what...
